...Are We Stupid?

In the course of our employment with The Company, we've had the opportunity to see several, shall we say, less-than-stellar employees. People who flat-out refused to work--and said so, directly, to management--and people who simply couldn't do the job. Inevitably, such people leave, though it's never easy while they're here.

The Company just started a new department specifically to serve some of its largest clients; the US Government, to name one example. We've just discovered that several of our problem children have been rehired into that new "big, profitable customers only" department.

As we rebalance our 401k, we took note of the Company Stock fund, but with the people The Company is hiring, we're far more interested in a Company Short fund. Regrettably, that one is missing.
